Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Andre Tricoteux, and Leslie Uggams slated for a February 2016 US theatrical release. Deadpool, the merc with the mouth has been breaking the internet ever since its test footage was intentionally leaked online to gain attention and attention is what it got. So what is there to say about the Deadpool redband trailer? Well, what isn't there to say about the Deadpool redband trailer but it captures the essence of Deadpool or whatever that means. 20th Century Fox make amends from the Deadpool travesty that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine with a more loyal to its source material, the fourth wall breaking foul-mouthed Merc with the mouth. It is a treat to see the story of the well-beloved pop culture character and icon finally realized and properly given justice to. With Ryan Reynolds being a big Deadpool fan himself and the film opting out for a more Mature rating than a PG film. If a Deadpool film want to be taken seriously, it can never be rated under the PG rating.


The trailer which initially debuted in TBS' Conan (Check out the clip here) has gore, violence, and uncensored language that easily alarmed and conservative parents would never let their children watch. But for those who fell in love with the character, whether those who are big comic book fans or just like me who happens to stumble over the character of Deadpool a few years back, this film with its casting and overall feel is looking good for this 2016 Marvel - 20th Century Fox film. This trailer is already enough to build the hype when Deadpool comes to theaters by February 2016 and I'll definitely see it.

Most of us grew up with the story of Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion and how they defeat the Wicked Witch who have been a menace to the people of the magical land of Oz. People who grew up with the story might have asked the question Ïf Oz was like Dorothy, an ordinary human, what was his story?". Finally after decades, Hollywoiod through Walt Disney Pictures now tells the story behind (or origin) of the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz.

Walt Disney Pictures has done an excellent job with the presentation of Oz The Great and Powerful official trailer. The magical land of Oz has been beautifully re-imagined in 3-D. The cast of the 2013 prequel to Oz is pretty solid with James Franco as Oscar Diggs (will be later known as the Wizard of Oz). The film can cater to both kids with its magical and fantasy setting, and adults who grew up hearing the story of The Wizard of Oz who wanted to know the origin of the Wizard who helped Dorothy. We'll have another good fantasy film from Walt Disney this 2013.

Who is fed up with zombies? Whether you like it or not, zombies are here to stay. 2013 will feature a new zombie film with a seemingly fresh take on the zombie film. Further research proves that the 2006 novel by Max Brooks it was based on received critical acclaim from critics and readers alike. Let's just hope Hollywood make this film adaptation right with Brad Pitt.

What we see in the film is a different kind of zombies, the running type. Zombies are already dangerous themselves but when they are at full speed out to get you? A what-if post-apocalyptic world chronicling the point-of-view of a man and his quest to fight this war against the zombie pandemic. Can the world be truly ready for such scientific anomaly? Fans of the zombie genre could have a another fave if the film adaptation actually work when World War Z hits US theaters on June 2013.

2013 offers a film featuring a mother's "undying" love with Mama. The only question is, "Is she even human?". Adults are puzzled as to how can two kids survived on their own for five years in the wild. Well, the catch is they weren't alone.

The trailer for mama looks good and features some creepy moments in the film. My only complaint is that they already included what "mama" looks like as seen in this trailer impressions for this 2013 horror movie. Even so, my curiosity is piqued. I am curious as to what is the nature of mama. Is she a ghost, malevolent spirit, an elemental, or what? What is her objective for haunting the guardian of the children she protected for five years? Is there really a haunting to begin with? Some movies play its audience well. They lure you in only to deliver a sucker punch of a twist or plot device in the end or later half of the film. Sometimes it is fresh and engaging, but usually it doesn't which could very well ruin the film. Let's just hope that it won't be the case with Mama.

Zombies have become its own genre in Hollywood now. The usual theme is horror and comedy, but adding a romantic element to a zombie film is refreshing. This is what Warm Bodies did, which is pretty obscure. Well, the idea of zombies is already pretty over the top concept itself, but dying and becoming a zombie only to gain a second shot at life because of love is even weirder even for zombie standards.

Meet R, a zombie who can barely put words together. The trailer starts off at the point of perspective of a zombie which is also particularly new given that they are pretty much "brain dead" or rather they cease to exist when their brains are blown off. Zombies are pretty much the antagonists in this film, but the budding love between a teenage zombie and a teenage girl may give these warm bodied zombies a second chance in life. The only question is how can they convince living humans to reconsider their miraculous change of heart (and appetite) while another set of zombies of the sinister kind exists. My curiosity is piqued with Warm Bodies, I am just hoping that it doesn't suck as bad as that other romantic movie featuring a human and a more popular horror monster.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 offers over 72 playable characters making it largest cast in the Ultimate Ninja series. The game's fighting system has now been modified with the Awakening Mode potentially being possible to be used at anytime during a fight. The player can still choose two characters to assist the player's character in battle (adventure and versus). The assisting characters now can also aid the playable one through the use of two different types of combos. Several arenas have become interactive, making the player automatically lose a fight if they leave a specific areas. Additionally, the game will offer a hack and slash mode in which the player controls a single character that has to battle a series of enemies ala Dynasty Warriors.

The story mode will be similar to the ones from Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 rather than the previous game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations as it will feature boss battles that include quick time events and require the use of strategies to defeat the opponent. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3's plot will start following the ending of Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and will initially focus on the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's attack to Konohagakure. From then the game will also cover the events from the Naruto Shippuden's fourth great ninja world war adapting most episodes aired on television by the time the game is released. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will also include the "Ultimate Decision Mode" which will give the option to change the result of the battles, resulting in alternative storylines.

Those who loved the first two Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm titles will definitely find home on this third title of the series. Also for those who didn't like the Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations for its static presentation, then this title will definitely bring your faith back on the series. Boss battles with quick time events are back and if you played the first two shortened but still epic cell-shaded adaptation of scenes based from the Naruto Shippuden anime series and manga are also back! That plus more avaiable character for versus is without a doubt the selling point of this game.

This red letter of a video game for Naruto series fans will give them the chance to bring home a piece of anime history at the comforts of their very own living room once they own this title on either Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I for one am definitely getting this title for that reason and to also play with my friends with the line up I used to use in the first two games. Well this is... refreshing? A new serial killer who now wears a smiley mask. The only question is Will it be more like the supernatural "Candy Man", or much more grounded to the truth like the "Scream" killer? Well basing from the genre it falls under, it obviously falls in the latter.

Well, we haven't seen that much slasher films and if ever this new Smiley becomes popular, then we may have ourselves a new series to follow. I just don't know if that's good or bad, but seeing the trend of films in Hollywood for the last decade or so, it is not that inconceivable. I just find it amusing how can a lighthearted emoticon like the smiley can be used as a theme or a mascot for a thriller. The only question is will they actually pull it off?

The Collection Trailer Impressions: Another Ingenious Psycopath Out on a New Brutal Contraption-Filled Killing Spree!

I wasn't fortunate enough to watch the first film this second one picks off, but hey it is still not too late right? I'm a bit squirmish at times but I think I'll give the first one a try first since the same characters in the first film will be on this second gore-fest of a slasher horror flick.

So what can we make out of the trailer? Well, luckily that this new mass murderer is just like the "beloved" Jigsaw from the Saw series. He is ingenious and good at creating various deadly contractions. They can't fully show the gore in this film and that's the edge of these kinds of films... the shock value. But is there anything new that can shock the slasher horror film fans? Well that is what The Collection should at least pull off in a way. In order for it to become the next Saw franchise it has to offer something more and not to become like a drained out cow milked to the bones like what other producers did with their film series.

What can we say about the second trailer for the Hobbit 2012 film adaptation that we haven't said in the first trailer impression we did? Now the second trailer has more epic action scenes and now with the well beloved Gollum a.k.a. Smeagol. Well chances are that Gollum wouldn't even be in this first Hobbit film, but what the heck it effectively builds hype and that is not really that bad. Misleading but not bad.

For those who loved and followed the epic adventure of Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings film and book trilogy, this film adaptation is essential to complete what the first film trilogy has started. It is very much welcome for most of us. I am just glad that I haven't read the books so this new Tolkien film adaptation will be fresh to me. Now we have more epic medieval adventure fantasy to look forward for this year and the two year following that with the Hobbit film trilogy. There is nothing left to say about An Unexpected Journey but to just enjoy it this Fall of 2012.

I'm just glad that this film will not entirely be presented in a P.O.V. perspective. That was the biggest concern I had at the start of watching the trailer. Luckily it is just a part of the entirety of the film. Although not really new, I liked at how the film focused on these two good policemen who got into a big mess because they simply did their jobs.

I'd buy the drama of this film as it is the real dangers that some of our valiant men in uniforms are facing. The sad part about it that in order for some policemen to preserve their jobs, family and life, they turn a blind eye on the crooks that plague the society, the various drug cartels. Well, the film does show what will happen if ever one does decide to bust them out. I am interested the "real" life drama of the protagonists of this film will have and will it have a good or tragic end?

Branded feels familiar. Familiar in a sense that this could very well be what the working of advertisements are. Well, of course it is science fiction, but could very well be based on what might be. In our world run by corporations, the very products that makes our lives easier or gives us satisfaction can very well be enslaving us.

I think Branded has a very interesting concept. It reminded me of what Matrix was like. Of people being enslaved by an entity unbeknownst to them. A perfectly orchestrated system by corporations, until one man or group of individuals see through this twisted system. Well this film could also make you think of what the system is like nowadays. How sure are we that we are the ones in control and not being controlled with?

Just like the 1984 Red Dawn, the 2012 Red Dawn uses the same what-if scenario. That what if one of their country's considered worst enemy invades their much beloved nation. Well all hell breaks loose especially if you put a group of teenagers in it... say whuuuut?

There are a number of ways that can make a soldier out of anyone. Besides patriotism and nationalism, one powerful force is family. Red Dawn used all of those. A different generation calls for a different Red Dawn. This time its not the Russians, but the Asians... specifically North Koreans. I don't know what to feel about this idea of using real world nations depicting them as villains in films. Well, given that they might really be that vile or up to no good, I don't know if it is really appropriate to play on these sensitive themes. These kinds of films can stir up various emotions if it does what it is meant for. Red Dawn maybe considered a propaganda, a sick joke, a provocation, or purely just entertainment... it really depends. But anyways, if you are an action film fan or any of the cast included in the film, or curious about this 2012 remake of the 1984 Red Dawn. Then this might be worth the shot.

Skyfall is an upcoming 2012 James Bond espionage action film directed by Sam Mendes starring Daniel Craig as James Bond (Agent 007), Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, and Berenice Marlohe. Agent 007 is dead. Really? Do you seriously believe that we would believe that? He should have died ages ago, but he is still here amidst all of the impossibilities of the mission (and the women) he has been assigned to. This time the story revolves around Bond's presumed dead after a failed mission which later compromised the whole MI6. Then we have Bond to rely again to hunt down the mastermind(s) behind it.

This 2012 we have another round of Daniel Craig as Agent 007's high octane action, cool gadgets, hot women, betrayal and conspiracies. There is nothing left to say, the trailer speaks for itself. Those who grew up with 007 and likes action will have no problem or have second thoughts with Skyfall.

Silent Hill is back and just like a more video game based movie adaptation (Resident Evil) it is going to be in 3-D as well. Silent Hill: Revelations 3D first made its debut on the San Diego Comic-Con 2012 with a scene featuring the Silent Hill Nurse.

Finally after 6 years, Hollywood has decided to take another shot with Silent Hill. I just don't know how to feel with films going 3-D nowadays, hopefully this Silent Hill sequel has something more to offer than the eye-popping 3-D and the extra bucks that goes with this theatrical effect. Well it is nice to see some iconic scenes and characters from the Silent Hill universe like Pyramid Head, the nurses and the actual town itself but hopefully there is more genuine scares and an actually good (not a carbon copy of the video games) story that weaves all of the scares and effects together. Well, let's keep our fingers crossed on this video game based movie, and hopefully it doesn't suck like any other video games that come before it.

The Campaign Trailer Impressions: Will Ferrell versus Zach Galifianakis in an All-Out Political War

The Campaign is a 2012 political comedy film directed by Jay Roach, distributed by Warner Bros., starring Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Dylan McDermott, Jason Sudeikis, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd, Katherine LaNasa, Sarah Baker, and Josh Lawson. The Campaign is about two Southerners vying for a seat in Congress to represent their small district. It is slated for an August 10, 2012 US theatrical release. We have seen Hollywood tackle various political themes, but this time it would be on a more lighter side of things... or is it? When Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis plays as two rival politician in a comedy, you are definitely in for a ride.

We all know that politics is dirty, but it will get even dirtier with Ferrel and Galifianakis. These two politicians will stop at nothing to outplay each other to ultimately win the votes of the people, but at what cost? There are a few scenes shown in the trailer that made me laugh. one in particular is how Ferrel's character does this traditional politician's talk on who are the country's back bone. It was funny because I have seen that same junk over and over again. Absurd and preposterous at a comedic level, in some way this is the reality of politics. Do they really want to serve the people or their ego? But let's not get so serious with these, hopefully The Campaign can both make us (ordinary cistizens) laugh and give some of those in "higher position" some really valuable lessons and pointers on serving the people.

If you're a fan of action, martial arts, beautiful women films, and a kick ass soundtrack then you might already got pretty hyped up with what The Man with the Iron Fists has to offer in this initial trailer. It is quite refreshing to see some Western or non-Asian characters in a martial arts film set in China. This freshness in concept along with the cool fight sequences, stunning visuals and musical scoring is what is this trailer showcased, but is it all too good to be true?

One thing that we can be sure is to never trust a film based on its trailers... well we can only hope. According to a information first featured in various movie-centric websites, "The first cut of the film was 4 hours long and RZA suggested splitting it into two films, but Roth disagreed and it was ultimately cut down to approximately 90 minutes." This does not bid well for the film. From four hours to just 90 minutes? Hopefully the editing is flawless, and they should for the people know about this blunder so the best the production team could do is to at least do a pretty darn good job to make up for it. I am not hoping for a convoluted story line nor a deeper meaning to life or any of those piece of somethings, this is an action film and they should at least live up to what the trailer has built now. Let's just hope that it is a great entertaining action flick.
