World War Z is an upcoming 2013 Paramount Pictures post-apocalyptic horror film written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and directed by Marc Forster starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, and Matthew Fox. Who is fed up with zombies? Whether you like it or not, zombies are here to stay. 2013 will feature a new zombie film with a seemingly fresh take on the zombie film. Further research proves that the 2006 novel by Max Brooks it was based on received critical acclaim from critics and readers alike. Let's just hope Hollywood make this film adaptation right with Brad Pitt.
What we see in the film is a different kind of zombies, the running type. Zombies are already dangerous themselves but when they are at full speed out to get you? A what-if post-apocalyptic world chronicling the point-of-view of a man and his quest to fight this war against the zombie pandemic. Can the world be truly ready for such scientific anomaly? Fans of the zombie genre could have a another fave if the film adaptation actually work when World War Z hits US theaters on June 2013.
