Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is an upcoming 2013 adventure-fighting video game title for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 from Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 part of the Ultimate Ninja Series and proceeded after Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (PS3 and X360) that covered the Akatsuki Arc. This time the third of the Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Series covers the fourth great ninja war arc. Plot / Synopsis

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 offers over 72 playable characters making it largest cast in the Ultimate Ninja series. The game's fighting system has now been modified with the Awakening Mode potentially being possible to be used at anytime during a fight. The player can still choose two characters to assist the player's character in battle (adventure and versus). The assisting characters now can also aid the playable one through the use of two different types of combos. Several arenas have become interactive, making the player automatically lose a fight if they leave a specific areas. Additionally, the game will offer a hack and slash mode in which the player controls a single character that has to battle a series of enemies ala Dynasty Warriors.

The story mode will be similar to the ones from Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 rather than the previous game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations as it will feature boss battles that include quick time events and require the use of strategies to defeat the opponent. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3's plot will start following the ending of Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and will initially focus on the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's attack to Konohagakure. From then the game will also cover the events from the Naruto Shippuden's fourth great ninja world war adapting most episodes aired on television by the time the game is released. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will also include the "Ultimate Decision Mode" which will give the option to change the result of the battles, resulting in alternative storylines.

Those who loved the first two Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm titles will definitely find home on this third title of the series. Also for those who didn't like the Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations for its static presentation, then this title will definitely bring your faith back on the series. Boss battles with quick time events are back and if you played the first two shortened but still epic cell-shaded adaptation of scenes based from the Naruto Shippuden anime series and manga are also back! That plus more avaiable character for versus is without a doubt the selling point of this game.

This red letter of a video game for Naruto series fans will give them the chance to bring home a piece of anime history at the comforts of their very own living room once they own this title on either Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I for one am definitely getting this title for that reason and to also play with my friends with the line up I used to use in the first two games. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is slated for a March 2013 US release.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is a direct sequel to 2010's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow with a yet to be announced release date. Konami unveiled Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on the last day of May 2012 before all the game trailers overdose gamers this E3 2012 (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012). Konami with the help MercurySteam and Kojima Productions has successfully revitalized and transitioned their popular sidescrolling platformer game franchise Castlevania into an action-adventure 3rd person game for the Xbox 350 and the Playstation 3 back at 2010 with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Although a reboot, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow got a fairly positive reception from its old and newer audiences. The 2010 Castlevania reboot may have looked like another God of War clone, but it can't be deny that it still has the same elements that made Castlevania Castlevania.

Classic Castlevania gamers are treated with another take, a new origin story of the main antagonist in the series. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow followed the tragic tale of Gabriel Belmont. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 picks up where Castlevania: Lords of Shadow's "Resurrection" DLC drops off. The trailer seems to imply that Gabriel now known as Dracula is more of a menace than a savior as he face off with battle-born knights, but having the sinister and diabolical power of the Forgotten One in him he easily sweep off these warriors... until one seemingly familiar character is the only one left to challenge him. Most Castlevania fans speculate that this mysterious character is Alucard (Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes), the son of Dracula from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania Legends, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Judgment. Although it might be a treat to see another familiar character in the Castlevania reboot for the seventh generation consoles, fans should take this teaser trailer with a grain of salt. Alucard may or may not be a playable character in the game, not to mention the mysterious character might not even be Alucard himself. Still this is a decent trailer and if you played or wanted more from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (2010) then you'll definitely would want to get your hands on this sequel.

Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger is on Mortal Kombat 9

When the good folks from Nether Realm Studios, Warner Bros. Games, and Mortal Kombat announced that there is a surprised downloadable character coming to the phenomenal Mortal Kombat 9, they were not kidding. They recently unveiled the last DLC out of four new characters for the Mortal Kombat, presenting Freddy Krueger.




Freddy Krueger is Mortal Kombat 9's last DLC character out of the four announced additional DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 9. If you own an xbox 360, Freddy Krueger is the fourth and free character for Mortal Kombat's Season Pass. Pay only 1200 Microsoft Points or $15 for all four characters: Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and Freddy. For those who don't want (or have) to purchase all four characters, I believe Freddy Krueger would still be available at around five bucks to whether you are on XBLA or PSN. He will be available for download by August 9, 2011.

One can notice that the Freddy Krueger DLC character design is directly modeled from the Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 reboot which stars Jackie Earle Haley as the infamous Freddy Krueger. It would be nice if they use the 90's Robert Englund's version of Freddy but it might still be a possibility since here are alternate costumes for Mortal Kombat 9. I just have some few things to say about the Freddy Krueger DLC announcement trailer. Why does Freddy have two metal-clawed brown leather glove when it should supposed to be only one and is supposed to be only located on his right hand? Why did they choose Scorpion to be he example of a Fatality move for Freddy? We all know that fire is Scorpio's element so just why use him? I am as puzzled as everyone else but the fact still remains, Freddy Krueger is a perfect character to be added in the Mortal Kombat universe.

To whether this is a blasphemy to Mortal Kombat gaming purists, or a blessing to both MK and classic horror film series fans one thing is certain and let me use one of Freddy's lines in one of Nightmare on Elm street movies "Freddy is back B*tch!" and he is here to stay on your video games.

The Intriguing Dead Island Announcement Trailer for PC, Playstation3 and Xbox 360

One day ago (February 17, 2010), The announcement trailer for the 2011's upcoming zombie-themed video game simply titled Dead Island made its debut on Youtube and various video game review websites. What made the Dead Island Announcement trailer for PC, PS3, and X360 is its unique and intriguing presentation accompanied with a dramatic scoring. A flashback (or rewind) of sorts is featured on the trailer as it showed how a young girl ended up all the way down on the cold grassy Earth from a towering story high building their family used to be.



This is probably the first time that a child is gruesomely victimized by zombies in a video game. There is this secret taboo that kid's should be up there on the pedestal. If you carefully think of it though, if ever a zombie apocalypse might occur, it is the children who are first to turn. If you ask me, I find it pretty artistic, disturbing and artistic at the same time. After reaing the deatils of the game on it's official Facebook page, I can't help but to expect so much about this game. Hope it isn't just hype.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Debut Trailer and Sneak Peaks

Square Enix officially released the first sneak peak video game trailer and screenshots of the sequel to 2010's Final Fantasy XIII. Simply named Final Fantasy XIII-2, just like another another Final Fantasy sequel (Final Fantasy X-2) will reunite Final Fantasy Fans and gamers with Lightning (main character unveiled for now) with the introduction of a shady looking warrior who can be seen in the new Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer could either be an ally or an enemy.

There isn't much to tell about the trailer but since yours truly have finished the game, I will give my early predictions, analysis, and impressions about the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 for 2012.

The official first sneak peak starts off where Final Fantasy XIII ends. Then the cinematics shifts to a kneeling Lightning in front of a throne which could be a fal'Cie or some new Kingdom that she might be serving. Then it cuts off to her showing off her new look and swords. To whether these swords will be gunblades just like what she used on Final Fantasy XIII is not clearly indicated or seen in the trailer. A mysterious male warrior is standing back to back with Lightning which could either be an ally or an enemy. The shady male warrior might also have a connection to the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII. All of these are mere predictions though and we'll just have to wait for further announcement until it's 2011 Japanese release.







Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released for the Sony Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 first in Japan by 2011l with Europe and the United States having theirs on the Winter of 2012.

Tron: Evolution Bridging the Gap From the Original to Legacy

Tron is probably one of the best sought after movie of the year. The sequel which follows the 1982 Tron movie will reintroduce us to the grid, a world where programs, software and navi comes to life. But before that December premiere of the much anticipated movie that will continue the story Tron has started, there will be Tron Evolution.

Tron: Evolution serves as a prequel to Tron: Legacy. It is designed to be an integral part of Tron story, featuring certain characters and settings from the film. The film will also reference the game's events. Evolution explains the events that led to Kevin Flynn's imprisonment inside Tron world, as well as tells how Tron world progressed through the years.



Olivia Wilde will be reprising her role as "Quorra", as well as Bruce Boxleitner who is reprising his role as "Tron". The player controls Anon, short for "Anonymous". This name was chosen by the game's creators in order to allow players to personify the character for themselves. Anon is a program written by Flynn to investigate a conspiracy in Tron world
