Marvel's Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United Film Trailer Review

Marvel recently announced in the New York Comic-Con 2012 (NYCC 2012) a new Avengers spin-off movie featuring only The Hulk and Iron Man with Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United. It is very obvious from the trailer that the film uses the likeliness of the Iron Man and the Hulk in the 2012 hit The Avengers live action film. Unfortunately it didn't feature the same actors to voice Hulk and Iron man, but it is just a minor set back for this cell-shaded animated film.

Although there hasn't been any official plot revealed, it doesn't take a genius to come up one thanks to this trailer. Iron Man's facilities has been compromised and it is up to him and the Hulk to control the situation caused by an infiltration of one of Iron Man's adversaries. Hopefully they can explain as to why the other Avengers are missing in action to justify the team-up. Of course the real threat of this is the Hulk Buster which can stand up against with the Hulk, but we obviously know what will happen on this clash. What we are curious with is how will they get to that epic conclusion. Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United is set to be released on April 2013.

After watching the official trailer, Robot and Frank has this lighthearted feel to it. This might possibly the case of some of our old folks and technology nowadays, Frank just fast forward it a bit with a bit of twist, an A.I. companion that seems to be more human than a cold machine.

My impressions about a film isn't usually swayed by the recognition a film receives, but I guess this is worth a try. Robot and Frank has this certain vibe where you can just watch it with your family and feel good afterwards, we might also learn a thing or two about our elders and life in general.

After the hit Act of Valor, The Bandito Brothers and writer/director Andrew Will will spearhead The Prototype, a Sci-Fi thriller. A military experimental humanoid robot is hunted by the FBI after escaping the facility it was previously on. The military project was shut down after the drone malfunctioned killing the scientists working on the project.

Robots as a film's main theme is not really new or revolutionary when it comes to film making. The big question now is, in the hundreds of films that has robots as its main theme, how will The Prototype be any different?

Well if you have seen of appreciated the Bandito Brother's Act of Valor, then you might have expect something good from The Prototype, but if you aren't then you are in the dark just as everyone else. What we know based on this trailer is this: It will have a humanoid robot that cares for someone but to why and who is that person is probably the film's biggest twist/plot. The this prototype kicks ass but as to what his motivation for doing so is what we will have to eventually find out when this sci-fi thriller comes out in 2013 or somewhat later this 2012. We'll just have to wait for more trailers and info about this film.

Fall of Cybertron continues the story from Transformers: War for Cybertron with the civil war between the Autobots and the Decepticons over control of their home world, Cybertron. The developer, High Moon Studios, hopes to show a darker tone than the original game; as Game Informer states, this game "changes and improves upon so many of the fundamental ideas that the developer considers the game a natural successor rather than a true sequel." Fall of Cybertron depicts the final battle between the two robot factions which results in the destruction of their home world, forcing the Autobots to seek refuge in our galaxy, the Milky Way. Many of us grew up and old patronizing the many by-products of Hasbro's Transformers toy franchise. Whether it is the actual toys (action figures), the many incarnations of the animated series, the more recent films series, and video games; people will always support and look up to this pop culture icon. Gamers have been sick of being presented with poorly conceived and developed Transformers video games that is until the release of Transformers: War of Cybertron back in June 2010. It re-imagined and masterfully crafted the story behind the dispute between Autobots and Decepticons in video game format. With tight game play and mechanics, good storyline, and familiar characters (and even voices), the game was herald to be the best Transformers game ever. Transformers: War of Cybertron ended with a cliffhanger and that is where Cybertron: Fall of Cybertron picks up.



The trailer looks amazing. Whether you are a fan or not, it cannot be denied that the trailer looks, sounds and feels right. A superbly crafted video game cinematic trailer. There sure will be future actual game trailers with game mechanics ad all, but this game trailer alone is already enough to effectively market the title. Being a video game sequel there is a lot of expectations for the developers of this 2012 Fall title. To whether this would be the last of this video game series or not, Transformers fans and gamers who played the first game will be looking forward at the progression of the story and the overall improvements it will implement on this video game sequel.
