Tron: Evolution Bridging the Gap From the Original to Legacy

Tron is probably one of the best sought after movie of the year. The sequel which follows the 1982 Tron movie will reintroduce us to the grid, a world where programs, software and navi comes to life. But before that December premiere of the much anticipated movie that will continue the story Tron has started, there will be Tron Evolution.

Premise

Tron: Evolution serves as a prequel to Tron: Legacy. It is designed to be an integral part of Tron story, featuring certain characters and settings from the film. The film will also reference the game's events. Evolution explains the events that led to Kevin Flynn's imprisonment inside Tron world, as well as tells how Tron world progressed through the years.



Olivia Wilde will be reprising her role as "Quorra", as well as Bruce Boxleitner who is reprising his role as "Tron". The player controls Anon, short for "Anonymous". This name was chosen by the game's creators in order to allow players to personify the character for themselves. Anon is a program written by Flynn to investigate a conspiracy in Tron world

Spider-man is finally available for every fanatic and curious gamer to grab. Play as four different Spider-man of different realities as you collect all of the shattered pieces of the tablets of order and chaos. As a big of the classic 90's Spider-man animated series, it is refreshing to see some familiar faces and voice actors with this new Spider-man game for the next gen consoles.

Premise

An artifact known as the "Tablet of Order and Chaos" is shattered into pieces during a skirmish between Spider-Man and Mysterio, causing problems with multiple Marvel Universe realities. Madame Web calls on four versions of Spider-Man from four realities to assist her in bringing the realities back into balance: the Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir (a 1930s version of Spider-Man), Spider-Man 2099 (the Spider-Man of a possible future), and a symbiote-bonded Ultimate Spider-Man (the Spider-Man of an alternate present). The Spider-Men are informed that villains in their respective universes have received enhanced powers due to the fragments of the tablet in their possession. Each villain possessing a fragment is granted power to accomplish what they desire most: defeating the Spider-Man of their respective universe

The Four Universe of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions



The first setting is the well-known Amazing Spider-Man Universe where Spider-Man foild another plot of Mysterio to rob a bank of an ancient artifact known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos. Accidentally the tablet was shattered along the process causing a disturbance on all realities. Madam Web intervenes and informs all four Spider-Man of different realities or dimensions to retrieve the shattered pieces of the tablet. Of course, it won't be easy for the amazing Spider-man as various thugs and goons are scattered all through out the city and some villains who wouldn't stop for nothing to get rid of the friendly neighborhood spider.

Villains in the Amazing Spider-Man universe includes Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Juggernaut, and Mysterio.



The Spider-Man Noir universe offers a different gameplay mechanic as you take control of a Spider-Man in a 1930's setting where stealth and speed is the best way to approach the evil that lurks the dark steampunk like city. Villains in the Spider-Man Noir universe includes Hammerhead, Vulture, and Goblin (Norman Osborne).



Spider-man 2099 allows you to control Miguel O'Hara in a very fast-phased futuristic city. Also assigned with the retrieval of all the shattered tablet pieces, Spider-man 2099 has been granted the power of accelerated vision which adds up to his already enhanced ability of acrobatics and combat. The villains in the Spider-Man 2099 universe includes Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, and Hobgoblin.



Finally there is the Ultimate Spider-Man universe wearing the black symbiote suit which empowers the alternate modern world Parker with devastating symbiotic spikes and tendrils which also acts like an extension of his body. Villains in the Ultimate Spider-Man universe includes Electro, Deadpool and Carnage.

Spider-man Shattered Dimensions is far from being the perfect Spider-Man game as previous Spider-Man game issues resurface once more which also haunts this game, but so far it is one of the cooler and better Spider-Man games that has been released as of the present compared to its predecessors. The setting is the planet Cybertron before contact is made with the planet Earth. The native sentient beings are at war with one another. A group of like minded robots have split off of the main faction to become Decepticons under their leader, Megatron. The leader of the Autobots, Zeta Prime, is killed leaving behind an inexperienced leader: Optimus.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions - Featuring Noir and the Amazing Universe

Well, let's take a break from movie trailers first as we focus on one of the coolest game sneak peaks (and will probably be underrated by some game review websites anytime soon) released this March. Featuring Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions which will offer a brand new approach to the Spider-man game franchise.



The recent Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions game trailer recently unveiled two out of its four worlds, the Amazing Spider-Man World and Noir Spider-Man World which will incorporate various kinds of game plays for each world or dimensions.





The Amazing World is the popular and known Spider-Man World where the typical Peter Parker suits up to become the cheeky and agile super-powered wall-crawling and web slinging superhero. Armed with amazing strength, agility, and humor he saves the day from the clutches of evil all the while struggling the life as an average Joe. What will possibly happen to the Amazing World after the dimensions collide? That is what to be find out on later game info releases.





Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has unveiled one of its villains in the Amazing World, Kraven the Hunter. This time it seems like Spidey will take the fight to the Hunter's lair.



Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Amazing World gameplay features the traditional Spider-Man game franchise web plus action gameplay. Focusing more on the web-shooting, web-slinging, and other skills to foil the plots of various villainsm this is the most popular spider-Man gameplay which is either loved or hated by fans.

The Noir World is a What-If Spider-Man Universe. Set out in 1933, the age of great depression, Peter Parker is under the acclaimed Daily Bugle reporter Urich who is known as the "Spider". Eventually receiving a tip-off meant for the "Spider", he sets out on a warehouse reported where the illegal shipment of "The Goblin" is taking place. Accidentally Peter breaks an antique Spider-statue which unleashed a horde of super-spiders which transformed him into Spider-Man of Noir. Way much darker and stealthier, Spider-man Noir is a crime fighter which will stop at nothing to stop the evil organization of Osborne.





Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has unveiled Hammerhead as one of the Noir World villains. Who else could be a perfect adversary to a Great Depression setting than a mafia-like henchman and brute like the Hammerhead



Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Noir World will focus more on the stealth gameplay ala Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, but of course there is still your traditional Spidey action if the going gets tough or the stealth has been compromised.

So far two worlds are still left into Spider-Man aficionados and gaming fan's curiosity. How will these worlds be shattered, who or what could be behind the crossing over of these worlds, guess we all have to find out on the weeks to come as the countdown to the official Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions game trailer is released.
