Yogi Bear - Stealing Picnic Baskets All Over Again But This Time in 3-D

If there is something Hollywood is good at that is making great series that holds great memories of our childhood and helped shape it. Hanna-Barbera Productions' Yogi Bear is one of those classic animated icons who isn't much of a role model (because he basically steals people's picnic baskets) but with the slapstick humor during those days, he was a good source of entertainment for kids. This 2010, Yogi and his pal Boo-Boo will make a come back but this time in 3-D with the Yogi Bear movie.

Premise

Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors—and, even worse, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is "smarter than the average bear" as he and Boo Boo join forces with Ranger Smith and a documentary filmmaker named Rachel to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.

Prepare for the Final Slaughter with Saw 3D

After six gruesome films, Saw will finally close its bloody curtain with the release of Saw 3D. What better way to end a popular slasher horror film franchise than ending it in bloody 3-D.



Saw 3D Synopsis
Premise

As Jigsaw is revealing to Adam to be the mastermind behind all of the "games" (Saw), Dr. Gordon is crawling in the hall outside the bathroom to try and find help. Along the way he reaches a hot pipe and uses it to cauterize his amputated foot. The next scene cuts to an urban shopping area where a crowd of people gather around a storefront window to find two men, Ryan and Brad, tied to a worktable, each with a buzz saw in front of them and their lover, Dina, suspended above. As she is being lowered onto another buzz saw, each of the men must choose to either kill the other person in order to save her, or allow her to die, resulting in their freedom.



Meanwhile, survivors from Jigsaw's previous traps gather to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen. Mark Hoffman and Jill Tuck battle over Jigsaw's legacy.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 Tron Bonne and X-23 Tokyo Game Show Unveil

Two new playable characters for the Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds have been unveiled on the Tokyo Game Show 2010 and they are Tron Bonne from Capcom's Megaman Legends video game, and X-23 from the Marvel Comics Universe.

Kamen Rider OOO - Transforming and Crime Fighting via Medals?

Kamen Rider OOO (pronounced as Kamen Raidā Ōzu) is the next Heisei Kamen Rider series that follows Kamen Rider Double. The 12th Kamen Rider in the Heisei era uses medals (more likely coins) to fight the new face of evil... the Greeeds!



Kamen Rider OOO Synopsis
Premise

Eiji Hino is a man who has no dreams, no job, and no family. When animal-like monsters called Greeed awaken after their 800 year slumber to attack humans and feed off of their desire, a bird-type Greeed called Anku gives Eiji a belt and three Medals to fight the Greeed so he can become the predestined Multi King. This allows Eiji to become Kamen Rider OOO. The mysterious Kougami Foundation approaches him and begins assisting him in his fight against the Greeed, but their true motives are not clear. When Eiji fights for the first time, he starts to realize what it means "to be alive".

Besides having an upbeat intro music for the series, a Kamen Rider won't be complete without the bike. The Ride Vendor is Kamen Rider OOO's personal bike, which is a modified Honda VT 750 C2B Shadow Black Spirit mass-produced by the Kougami Foundation. The cool thing about it is that it normally looks like an ordinary vending machine, until OOO or any member from the foundation inserts a medal to either transform it to a bike, or release "candroids". Candroids are special support robots that transforms into its original can mode into animal mode (also seen in the opening).

Halloween Costumes: Who Said that Halloween Is Just for the Kids?

Halloween costumes, trick-or-treating, jack-o'-lanterns, bobbing apples, decorated houses, scary pranks and ghost stories all means one thing, Halloween. The annual secular holiday is fast approaching and if there is something that this ancient celebration has thought us, is that to have fun even with the things that often scares us.

Halloween is not just for the kids, but more for the adults population in general. If you thought people who dress weird is funny, then wait until Halloween as everyone has the right to dress up as anyone without people criticizing or judging them. From kids wearing cute cartoon characters to grown ups wearing adult halloween costumes which range from the most silly to the unusually impressive copy of the original.



I've always wanted to dress up as one of my most favorite horror film character Freddy Krueger of the popular horror classic the Nightmare on Elm Series. With his mischievous, witty and merciless nature, I believe that being Freddy for Halloween is just perfect. Besides Krueger who is more sinister and is a face of evil, I would like to balance the scales by having a Batman mask as well. Both of these characters are a big part of my childhood and helped shaped the "geekiness" in me. What is also expected on Halloween are people wearing sexy halloween costumes which would often always add "spice" to the annual celebration.

Premise

An artifact known as the "Tablet of Order and Chaos" is shattered into pieces during a skirmish between Spider-Man and Mysterio, causing problems with multiple Marvel Universe realities. Madame Web calls on four versions of Spider-Man from four realities to assist her in bringing the realities back into balance: the Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir (a 1930s version of Spider-Man), Spider-Man 2099 (the Spider-Man of a possible future), and a symbiote-bonded Ultimate Spider-Man (the Spider-Man of an alternate present). The Spider-Men are informed that villains in their respective universes have received enhanced powers due to the fragments of the tablet in their possession. Each villain possessing a fragment is granted power to accomplish what they desire most: defeating the Spider-Man of their respective universe

The Four Universe of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions



The first setting is the well-known Amazing Spider-Man Universe where Spider-Man foild another plot of Mysterio to rob a bank of an ancient artifact known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos. Accidentally the tablet was shattered along the process causing a disturbance on all realities. Madam Web intervenes and informs all four Spider-Man of different realities or dimensions to retrieve the shattered pieces of the tablet. Of course, it won't be easy for the amazing Spider-man as various thugs and goons are scattered all through out the city and some villains who wouldn't stop for nothing to get rid of the friendly neighborhood spider.

Villains in the Amazing Spider-Man universe includes Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Juggernaut, and Mysterio.



The Spider-Man Noir universe offers a different gameplay mechanic as you take control of a Spider-Man in a 1930's setting where stealth and speed is the best way to approach the evil that lurks the dark steampunk like city. Villains in the Spider-Man Noir universe includes Hammerhead, Vulture, and Goblin (Norman Osborne).



Spider-man 2099 allows you to control Miguel O'Hara in a very fast-phased futuristic city. Also assigned with the retrieval of all the shattered tablet pieces, Spider-man 2099 has been granted the power of accelerated vision which adds up to his already enhanced ability of acrobatics and combat. The villains in the Spider-Man 2099 universe includes Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, and Hobgoblin.



Finally there is the Ultimate Spider-Man universe wearing the black symbiote suit which empowers the alternate modern world Parker with devastating symbiotic spikes and tendrils which also acts like an extension of his body. Villains in the Ultimate Spider-Man universe includes Electro, Deadpool and Carnage.

It's been a while since we last saw a giant monster/alien film in the big screen, this year it will make a come back with the British science fiction film Monsters. Follow the journey of two characters as they went through various ordeals which depicts real world themes like the division of North America from the South America, biological warfare and its consequences, and the military power and civilian protest, and refugees.

Alien life forms have spread throughout central America leading to the quarantine of half of Mexico. The U.S. and Mexican militaries are battling to contain the creatures, with a wall stretching along the American border. The story follows Andrew, an American photojournalist helping his wealthy employer's daughter, Samantha, get back to America. Their journey takes them across Central America and eventually into the 'infected zone'.
