Plot / Synopsis

In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, KUNG FU PANDA 3.


When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. The trailer opens with Master Shifu saying: “A catastrophic event is coming. I foresee that everything in this world will soon be…enveloped in darkness.” Then, Po wakes up and says, “Oh God!” After which, the antagonist is seen with an evil smirk.And given Oogway seems to be flying, he has probably achieved some form of spiritual enlightenment after “death”.

What is there to say about the official US trailer and the Chinese trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3?

Well first off let's focus on the First Official American Trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3. It is pretty much standard fair, showing each of the Kung Fu masters alongside Po training cuts to a funny scene showing the first interaction between father-and-son which was hinted on Kung Fu Panda 2. That is pretty much it for the American trailer. That is more than enough to get those who have seen the first two movie excited, right? Well, wait until you see the Kung Fu Panda 3 Chinese trailer which shows more action and the villain in the 2016 sequel.


On the Kung Fu Panda 3 Chinese trailer it shows more of the villain called Kai, Po's spiritual enlightenment and interaction with Oogway, and some special fight scenes which may already show more of the film and is crossing the spoiler territory. This made me more excited about the third Kung Fu Panda film. I highly suggest watching it right after watching the first one. I've also shared some stills of the trailer here which is something to hang on to if ever the video gets taken down.

What makes a good animated film? The answer to that is when the said animated film both caters to the entire family. An animated film where both children and adults will find entertaining. This is the case with Dreamwork's Rise of the Guardian.

Most of us grew up hearing stories about various fictitious characters like Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, the Boogeyman, the Sandman, etc. This is probably why most films that includes a take on most of these characters usually warrants our interest, but what more if you put them together and approach them in a completely different perspective? This is where Rise of the Guardians trailer works. I for one am hyped up for this animated film and automatically gets a recommendation from us.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted Trailer Impressions: The Third Installments and No, the Animals Aren't Home Yet

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a computer-animated 3-D comedy film and the third installment of the Madagascar film series which still follows the story of four New York City Zoo animals whom with the "help" of four sneaky penguins return to the wild, only to find themselves not completely fitting in and so the quest to return to that home continues. Produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures will this third to the last installment be as fun as that comes before it?



Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
Plot / Synopsis

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippopotamus, and Melman the Giraffe set out to return to New York after escaping to Africa. Dependent on the mechanical know-how of the notorious monkeys, their plan inevitably goes awry and they find themselves stranded in Monte Carlo, where they try to escape Europe from animal control by joining up with a traveling circus by chance. Led by the venerable tiger Vitali, the animal-centered circus has seen better days. During the course of a tour through a series of European cities that ends in a fabulous big top in the heart of London, Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman help Vitaly, Gia the jaguar, and Stefano the sea lion, rediscover their passion for show business and reinvent circus performance.

Who would have thought that the CGI film Madagascar would be an animated film "tetralogy " a.k.a. quadrilogy? Well that should not be a surprised as Hollywood has this awful habit of milking something which either successfully works or frustratingly don't. As far as he Madagascar series is concern, I think Dreamworks did the right thing, take four likable main protagonists and continue to follow their quest to get home. That is what Madagascar film series has been all about and you know what it is alright.



This time the animals are in Monte Carlo and on the run, now they have to "blend in" for them to successfully go back to New York City. You will see some similarly humorous scene in this trailer and as I watch the trailer, I cannot help but smile to see familiar faces doing what they usually do. A perfect movie to bring the kids without boring the adults as well, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a good 2012 family movie. A very easy recommendation for CMAQUEST.

Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda Review: Bring Home the First Tale of Awesomeness

Dreamworks first released Kung Fu Panda back in 2008 and since then it won the hearts of many kids and "kids at heart" alike. It is no wonder that Dreamworks made a sequel of equal (if not greater) caliber. Let's take a look back on Kung Panda.




Kung Fu Panda, set on a fictional ancient China where arthromorphic animals lived follows the story of a very unlikely protagonist named Po, a panda. Po, voiced by Jack Black dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master himself just like his idols, the Furious Five: Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), and Viper (Lucy Liu). The furious five protects the Valley of Peace using Kung Fu with the help of their Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). Po was ecstatic to hear that a tournament amongst the Furious Five will be held to see who is rightful to received the dragon scroll - a scroll of limitless power and become the legendary Dragon Warrior. Po eventually got the chance to witnss the coronation but he has to be a sell noodles while he is at it. Po's father is a goose named Mr. Ping voiced by James Hong. Po wasn't able to enter the arena because but eventually found a way to do so. The unlikely panda was accidentally chosen to be the Dragon Warrior by the elderly tortoise Master Oogway which shocked everyone, even Po himself... But is it really an accident?

Kung Fu Panda is an animated 3-D family film that mixes various movie genre in all the right way. Some animated films makes are just catered for kids, but Kung Fu Panda is different. Adults alike will find it very entertaining, an actually good film for the entire family. If you missed out the opportunity to see the first Kung Fu Panda or curious about this great animated film series from Dreamworks, then why not bring home the awesomeness with Kung Fu Panda and See how the clumsy overweight panda became the "dragon warrior". The journey to awesomeness is already enough but it doesn't stop there as additional features are available on DVD.
