Plot / Synopsis
In 1937 China, during the second Sino-Japanese war, a mortician, John (Christian Bale) arrives at a Catholic church in Nanjing to prepare a priest for burial. Upon arrival he finds himself the lone adult among a group of convent girl students and prostitutes from a nearby brothel. When he finds himself in the unwanted position of protector of both groups from the horrors of the invading Japanese army, he discovers the meaning of sacrifice and honor.

Although the world has not completely rid itself of war, most of its parts have been enjoying peace and freedom. But before all of these came to be, there once were bloody and pointless war. It was a hard time to live during those time and we can only imagine the horrors of what it was like. War films usually provide us the knowledge and awareness of our history and the right decisions to correct those mistakes.
The Flowers of War movie trailer looks amazing. It gives us what to expect but does not spoil everything away. If you are into war films with a heart, then there is no question, you will see his film. Featuring superb acting from the best of the East and West, The Flowers of War has a seemingly perfect trailer which makes the film riveting and worth watching.
