EPIC is a 3D CG action-adventure comedy that reveals a hidden world unlike any other. EPIC tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world... and ours.

Epic Film Trailer Review
For a 2013 animated film, this is really quite early for an official trailer to be released, but I guess it is better to build the hype early, right? So what can we make up for this first look on Epic, an upcoming film reminiscent of 1992's Fern Gully.
Well thanks to all these early press releases, we really have a good idea on what to expect with Epic, but of course not everything was spoiled. The question what is the war all about, how did the main protagonist end up as tiny as the mystical fairies, and what will be her part in this story are some of the usual questions raised by these kinds of family adventure animated film. They are still a year a head and a lot more time to polish and improve the already lively and lush universe that Epic tries to set up. Let's just hope that it doesn't get too predictable.
