So what is Film Riot?

Film Riot is updated weekly, every Thursday to be exact. The weekly online show features the magic behind movie effects and making them presented in an informative and entertaining way. Blast From The Past: BeakMan's World

Do you still remember the hit and phenomenal 90's educational science and children's show Beakman's World?



For the newer generations, Beakman's World is once a popular children's show about an eccentric scientist doing comical yet factual experimentations and demonstrations in response to the viewers mail. The show has been popular to professors, children, and students due to the shows bizarre, hilarious, and effective ways of explaining what other calls "boring" elements of science as a subject.

In this video we will see one of Beakman's World's frequent segment the Wide BeakWorld of sports. This video shows what is the toughest sports, and it is not even Basketball

What made The Beakman's World phenomenal are the shows' characters and how they are portrayed in the show. From two penguins watching the show; a sarcastic and skeptical and sometimes rude guy in a rat suit; a lovely pretty assistant; to a scientist who always shouts "Zaloom" are the major characters seen throughout the rest of this educational show.

As he continues with his diet program, he met the woman who would change his life forever, her name is Claudia Solis.

Oprah: An Anti-Christ?

Last Night that's June 06, of 2008 after watching my favorite segment on my favorite Filipino Gag Show "Bubble Gang" I browsed the channels and saw "The 700 Club Asia" which discusses about the New Age Belief and its Anti-Christianity Nature. As you've also noticed in the videos above there is some sort of a product endorsement here which is the book "Don't Drink the Kool-Aid...", but if you look carefully one important message can be seen in these videos. Oprah as a non-Christ and God Believer. Yeah she believe in God, She believe in herself for she is God according to their belief.

I am a Christian and am exploring what church to be a part of... but after seeing these videos, my image of Oprah's overwhelming majestic image went tumbling down to a pile of ash... dust.

I understand the diversification of religion on the entire globe but what Oprah is doing is intolerable. She and her "spiritual adviser" doing is preposterous. Because they have these belief that they are God and keep on referring their twisted teachings to the Holy Bible. Everything is all good until Oprah proclaimed her belief and started to spread her belief which is slowly corrupting the mind of her viewers.

Well I am furious!!! I say. I am not that devoted yet but I believe that there is a God and through Christ we can be save. Hope we all can see through the New World's Twisted Teaching...

A Man Trapped in the Elevator and David Letterman's Experience

I have seen a video in one of my Filipino Buddies here in the blogosphere and decided to show this to everyone and to those who haven't seen the video. This is a a video showing a time lapse of a man trap inside the elevator for almost two days. Here is the Video:

The Iron x The Hulk x The Mummy x The Bat

Last Wednesday, April 30 (official opening of Iron Man in Movie Houses) I watched Iron Man and got blown away with every scene. I could recommend that it is one of the best movie of the year. Robert Downey Jr. was excellent in his portrayal of Tony Stark, the man behind the Iron.

I don't want to spoil it to you so hope you go see the movie yourself.
