Prince Dastan, the popular game character will be given life into in another "big screen" adaptation of the popular and cult classic game, The Prince of Persia. The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time movie is a Jerry Bruckheimer Films production and distributed by Walt Disney worldwide by May of 2010 will join the ranks of other popular games adapted to film like the Mario Bros., Lara Croft, the Street Fighters, Max Payne, etc.

The Premise:
Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a street urchin in 6th century Persia. After showing valor in battle, he is adopted by the king as his heir, so the king's two sons will not fight over the throne.[1] He teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to rescue the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that controls time, from the hands of the villainous nobleman, Nizam (Ben Kingsley)
