Sucker Punch - Fantasy Mixed with Reality and Guns?

Sucker punch, the upcoming 2011 film from the director of 300 and Watchmen (Zack Snyder) is described as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns". Everything a guy geek, nerd, and movie goer could possibly think of is here (well the decent Hollywood version that is) which includes babes, guns, and dragons.



Sucker Punch Synopsis
Premise

Set in the 1950s, it tells the story of Baby Doll (Browning), who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution in Brattleboro, Vermont and while there she starts to imagine an alternate reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is captured by an unknown adversary. She has 5 days to escape before being lobotomized. In order to cope with the situation, she enters the hyper-real world of her imagination, and the lines between reality and dream begin to blur. She is joined with friends who are inmates from the institution. Lessons learned in the said fantasy world could help the girls escape their real-world fate."

Thor 2011 Movie's San Diego Comic-Con Booth Exhibits and Reveal

Thor is the first Marvel movie lined up for 2011 and two months after that is the Captain America: The First Avenger movie. The Thor exhibit at the Marvel boot in the recently held San Diego Comic-Con 2010 featured various Thor movie-related stuff to give us a sneak peak of what are the things to come for the movie.



Actual helmets worn by actors Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Sir Anthony Hopkins as the characters of Thor, Loki and Odin.

Thor Synopsis
Premise

The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

One of the biggest reveal on the Thor booth at the SDCC 2010, the unveiling of one of the Thor villains. The Destroyer.



The Infinity Gauntlet is also displayed at the Thor/Marvel booth which could signify that it will possibly play a role on the upcoming Thor and The Avengers movie.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 New Characters Amaterasu and Thor

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds has slowly but surely been building up the hype to its much awaited crossover fighting game release on the Spring of 2011. You saw some of its first six characters back at the very first peak on A Sneak Peak of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds - First Six Playable Characters Revealed!.



Sadly, I wasn't able to update you guys on the eight more characters but as a treat I will do that plus the two additional characters released on the recently held San Diego Comic-Con 2010. Introducing the Mighty Thor from the Marvel Universe and Amaterasu from the popular Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii video game Okami.

Paranormal All Over Again: The Paranormal Activity 2 Teaser

Paranormal Activity spook a lot of movie goers on both its 2007 limited release and the 2009 edited version. It was a blockbuster success back then so like any other successful movies, it would definitely make a comeback and everyone was surprised when the trailer of Paranormal Activity 2 was released alongside the screening of the Twilight Sage: Eclipse.
