A Modern Fantasy Tale of Beauty and the Beast with Beastly

Tale as old as time, the classic tale of "Beauty and the Beast" is one of the most popular children's fairy tale of all time. It is no wonder why it has attracted the attention of novelist Alex Flinn who then create his modern take on the classic fairy tale with his 2007 novel Beastly. Hollywood then followed which comes in the upcoming 2011 fantasy Romantic film of the same title about realization and true love.

Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating aggressively unattractive classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra, inviting her to the schools extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is
