The Women of Survivor Philippines

Survivor Philippines is a Philippine version of the hit reality television game show "Survivor". The series is hosted by Paolo Bediones and currently being telecast at GMA "Kapuso" Network. It premiered last September 15, 2008. The show was shot in Ko Tarutao, the same island where Survivor: Thailand took place. Initially there were two teams or tribes. The names of the tribes are derived from the Thai language which includes Naak (snake) and Jarakay (crocodile), which later became on tribe and Chalam (Shark). There are 18 Survivor Castaways which was composed nine men and women. Here are the women of the first Survivor Philippines:

Vevherly "Vevh" Gador



Vhevs is a member of the Naak Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 20 year old from Alcantara, Cebu. A 4th year Criminology student from University of Cebu. She is dubbed as the “Farmer Girl”. She plans to use her farmer girl instincts to win the ultimate prize.


Chev Macias



Chev is a member of the Naak Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 26 year old from Iloilo City, Philippines. She is dubbed as the “Bisayang Palaban”. A former GRO (guest Relations Officer) and now an Ukay-Ukay (flea market) business owner in Iloilo. She lived in Thailand for six years.

Anna Charisse Yacapin



Charisse is a member of the Jarakay Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 27 year old from Makati City. She is dubbed as the “Smart Babe". A product officer in a telecommunications company. A graduate from Ateneo de Manila University.

Leona Rica "Nikki" Dacullo



Nikki is a member of the Jarakay Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 21 year old from Tacloban City, Philippines. Dubbed as the “Call Center Cutie". She is a Call Center agent. She describes herself as a laid back person who likes to go with the flow. She believes she has a strong personality which will help her win the challenges in Survivor Philippines.

Kristina “Kaye” Alipio



Kaye is a member of Naak Tribe of the survivor Philippines. A 20-year-old lingerie model from Calamba, Laguna. Dubbed as “The Model”, She is a sexy lingerie model with a solid Christian faith, Kaye is any guy’s ideal girl.

Jervy "Patani" Daño



Patani is a member of the Jarakay Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 20 year old from Talisay, Cebu. she is Dubbed as “Ang Yaya” (The Nanny). A babysitter in Cebu who grew up in Camotes island. A funny character, Patani loves acting, hosting, and modeling. She believes she's finally got her chance to be the next big thing.

Nina Ortiz



Nina is a member of the Jarakay Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 40 year old Operations Manager of a company. An active mom to three kids. Dubbed as the “Sporty Mom”. She likes extreme sports like mountain climbing and mountain biking. She feels the time has come to raise her competitiveness to the next level: Survivor Philippines.

Zita Ortiga




Zita is a member of the Naak Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 43 year old from Pasay City. Dubbed as “Ang Labandera”. A single mother to 7 children plus 12 grandchildren. She wants to do whatever it takes to win the grand prize.

Veronica Domingo



Vern is a member of the Jarakay Tribe of the Survivor Philippines. A 29 year old from Cavite. A Far Eastern University graduate. A pretty Taekwondo Champion (now Taekwando coach ). She has various international and local titles and awards under her belt.
